Once I’ve used the time-tested Xuan Kong calculations to reveal what elements are necessary to neutralize your home/office’s sabotaging energies or to enhance its supportive energy combinations…
YOU’LL DECIDE how to implement the all your required elemental remedies as beautiful accessories.
Feng Shui literally translates Wind Water, both of which have currents that move the Universal life force energy that’s in everything. The Chinese call this energy Qi or Chi. All elemental remedies must be “out” where the Air Currents will come in contact with them to affect the Qi in the area, so they must blend with your chosen décor.
Therefore, as a Classical Feng Shui consultant I’ll advise you on what elements you need to place where needed and make suggestions on how you can implement your essential remedies, so you receive compliments instead of questions.
When you need assistance with...managing your clutter, interior decorating or landscape design advice, I highly recommend that you hire one of P.K.'s Preferred Vendors at www.PKrecommends.com.
NOTE:
The Actual Element is always the strongest remedy, because colors are only an alternative… except
where FIRE is concerned (for obvious safety reasons.).
Here are a few guidelines for using each of the 5 Elements as Feng Shui remedies.
PLUS… a few on–line resources.
I’ll start with Metal, because it is the most used remedy. Actually, when the ancient Feng Shui Masters mentioned using a MIRROR they were referring to a Metal remedy, because in those days … all Mirrors were made of thick pieces of highly polished Metal. Our modern mirrors are NOT Feng Shui remedies, because they are made with less Metal than a soda can.
METAL
a. colors substituted for actual Metal:
b. avoid FIRE & Water elements or colors in the same area with a Metal remedy, because Fire melts Metal & Water corrodes Metal, which weakens Metal.
CAUTION: Metal Wind Chimes are only used OUTSIDE in specific instances, because under certain circumstances inside they can create severe problems.
Examples:
Metal furniture, decorative metal ornaments, sculptures or wall hangings are often used as a Metal remedy. A key–wind clock with a pendulum & chime is the most effective when Moving or Heavy Metal is specifically indicated. Remember to use a clock with metal gears that must be wound. A quartz or battery operated clock will not work as a Metal remedy, because there are no metal gears.

WATER
a. colors substituted for actual Water:
b. avoid EARTH & Wood elements or colors in the same area with a Water remedy, because Earth damns up Water & Wood uses Water to grow which decreases Water.
Examples:
An uncovered fish tank (with or without fish) that uses a cascading
filter, which gives the waterfall effect, is a good Water remedy. Indoor tabletop
fountains are most effective when made of metal, which synergies with the water energy &
increases its effectiveness. Avoid fountains that are filled with rocks, because they block the Water’s energy and hold very little Water.
WOOD
a. colors substituted for actual “Live” Wood:
b. avoid METAL & Fire elements or colors in the same area with a Wood remedy, because Metal chops Wood & Fire burns Wood.
NOTE: Wooden furniture is neutral, because it is no longer taking up water and giving off oxygen.
CAUTION: Plants and/or flowers that are dead or dying need to be removed, because they have a negative affect on the energies around them.
FIRE colors
a. Always use COLORS to SAFELY represent Fire:
b. avoid WATER & Earth elements or colors in the same area with a Fire remedy, because Water & Earth both extinguish a Fire.
WARNING: Fireplaces & candles are only effective when burning. Therefore they don’t make good Feng Shui remedies. Please, do NOT leave actual Fire unattended. Remember, actual Fire can be hazardous.
Examples:
Black lights bulbs, Red light bulbs & lampshades of a Fire
color are effective when the lamp is illuminated continuously (a small nightlight with a red bulb works
well & is inexpensive) Electricity is also considered a Fire element, so computers, stereos
& televisions are effective when they are in use.

EARTH
a. colors substituted for actual Earth:
b. avoid “LIVE” WOOD & Metal elements or colors in the same area with an Earth remedy, because Wood displaces Earth & Metal is drawn from Earth, which weakens Earth.
Examples:
Rock or crystal collections; Marble or stone bookends; Stone, marble, concrete or clay sculptures & figurines are excellent objects to use as Earth element remedies.
